GSDXA Field Day 2022

Again this year, the Club elected to operate Field Day individually since ARRL had extended the Field Day rule changes and club aggregate scoring which were implemented for the 2020-21 pandemic.

Once again we offered plaques for the top QSO totals on each band, which were awarded at our August meeting at El Saltillo.

Participation was down this year, with four members submitting scores for the club aggregate score totalling just over 700 QSOs:

AE5MI, WQ5L, KM4LRH, WD5BJT

...which meant everybody got a plaque!

KM4LRH FD22

Ray, WQ5L operated 1E from the back porch to claim the 20 meter plaque.

WQ5L FD22

Charlie, WD5BJT caught some fleeting openings on 10 meters to claim his plaque.

And Yvette, AE5MI, made the best of a very poor 6 meter band to claim a plaque.
